Vibe Pass creates Apple Wallet passes from screenshots of membership cards, student IDs, parking tickets, gift cards, loyalty cards, and other credentials with visible barcodes or QR codes.
Card Screenshots: When you upload a card screenshot, it is sent to our server for text extraction. The image is processed in memory and is never stored on our servers.
Location: If you grant location permission, your approximate location is used once to find nearby organization locations for your Wallet pass. Your location is not stored.
Anonymous Usage Statistics: We collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics such as the number of passes generated and the card types used (e.g. gym, parking, event). No personal information, card details, images, or location data is collected or stored. Each record contains only a timestamp and a card category.
We do not create user accounts. We do not store your membership card data. We do not store your images. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or advertising IDs. We do not use cookies.
Card screenshots are transmitted via HTTPS to our server, processed in memory to extract text and barcode information, and immediately discarded. The only output is a signed Apple Wallet pass file (.pkpass) returned to your device. No card data is retained on our servers.
Vibe Pass uses Google Places API to find nearby locations for your organization. Only the organization name is sent to Google — no personal information, card details, or images are shared.
Once added to Apple Wallet, your pass is stored locally on your device and managed entirely by iOS. Vibe Pass does not have access to passes after they are created. You can delete any pass directly from the Wallet app.
